The body features a lift-off roof panel to allow easy access to the 21 Pin DCC decoder socket. There’s also a full suite of switchable exterior and interior lighting functions, plus an upgraded drive unit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur exclusive model depicts Class 26\/1 number 26 043, which holds the honour of being the last Class 26 to be outshopped in Rail blue livery, following refurbishment in 1985. After moving from Eastfield to Haymarket depot, 26 043 was allocated to the Scottish Region’s Departmental Civil Engineers (DCE) sector, gaining a set of distinctive markings below the cab windows on the second man’s side, complete with ScR lettering. Haymarket’s famous depot logos, featuring Edinburgh Castle, were also applied.
