Our special edition Class 26/1 model depicts locomotive 26 043, the last of its class to wear Rail blue livery after its 1985 refurbishment. This new version features a fully redesigned body and underframe for enhanced detail, a lift-off roof for easy access to the 21 Pin DCC decoder socket, upgraded drive unit, and switchable exterior and interior lighting. Unique detail fittings include miniature snowploughs, air horn vent covers, and alternative bogie steps. Livery and markings accurately reflect 26 043’s distinctive appearance during its service and preservation history.
